Gandhi always tried to attain equality and peace for the people of India. He was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1937, 1938, 1939, and 1947,but never got it. approximately believe because he was a politician was the reason he did not receive it, while others believe that the work Gandhi did was not universal just in India was the reason He did not get the award(Mahatma Gandhi). Gandhi was the fourth and get going child born into his family. Gandhis childhood and adulthood were very divergent from this generation because we do not have segregation. Gandhis influence on the civil rights movement and his death had a big impact on the way we live today.Gandhi was born October 2, 1869 in Portbandar India. Gandhis life had an important impact on how the people in India were treated. His influence on the civil rights movement helped the leaders of the civil rights movement become inspired. His assassination was a hard time for the people in India. Gandhi inspired a lot of people not just in India, but solely over the world as well.
